All Caremark personnel have been carefully selected, rigorously trained and given comprehensive and continuous back up and support.

The Caremark Story

The Caremark story started in 1987 when the founder of Caremark, Kevin Lewis, first entered into the care business by establishing a residential care home in East Sussex.

When the NHS and Community Care Act was introduced to the U.K in1993, Kevin Lewis diversified his business activities into the provision of domiciliary care, or homecare, as it is often called.

Kevin's fundamental belief is that everyone requiring care who wishes to remain living in their own home, should be given the freedom and assistance to do so as safely and securely as possible and this belief combined with his commitment to providing only the highest standards of care, resulted in his company gaining the recognition in 2001 of having achieved market leader status in the U.K. In the same year this business was the subject of an acquisition by a plc.

Still passionate about providing high standards of homecare for those in need in their own homes, the decision was made to develop a new care company and after four years of planning, Caremark was finally launched in 2005.

We believe that this mission can only be realised, if the highest standards of care are provided from each and every Caremark office.

In order to achieve this, each office is a Franchise, owned and operated by a local Franchisee. By operating in this way Caremark can ensure that all offices are completely dedicated to providing only the highest standards of care.
