Home Care Provider, Caremark (Luton & South Bedfordshire) were presented the ‘Mark of Excellence’ Award at the Caremark third Annual Conference held on the 29th January 2010.

This award is one of the most important presented at the Annual Conference; ‘The Mark of Excellence’ represents not only the excellent standards of care delivered throughout Caremark’s operations but also the consistent and determined approach, evidenced within their most recent inspection report.

The Awards were presented by Kevin Lewis, Managing Director and Sean Cragg, National Operations Director of Caremark Ltd at the Gala Dinner following the Conference. The event, entitled ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’, was themed around the Caremark network’s commitment to achieving excellence in every aspect both during 2010 and into the future. Kevin Lewis described Nick and Samantha Wellington’s achievements as reflected in “their passion and belief in the business, their personal commitment to deliver care to nothing less than the highest standards, and their excellent attention to detail. At no time, have I seen any sign of them being prepared to accept second best”.

Nick Wellington, Managing Director of Caremark (Luton) commented, “We are delighted to win this prestigious national award. This is testament to the commitment, hard work and dedication of all our staff. My staff attend a comprehensive training programme before they start with us, and on-going training throughout their employment. Home Care provider Caremark have received their first quality rating from the CQC this month and achieved a 2 Star – Good Service rating, the highest possible in their first inspection.

The report from the CQC inspection contained many positive comments from customers and staff, with one customer noting “the help we have received is nothing short of excellent”. Nick Wellington, Director of Caremark is thrilled with the rating they have received; “we are delighted to have achieved a 2 Star rating in our first inspection, this is testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team here at Caremark”.

Caremark provide a wide range of care services to adults and children living in their own homes, including all aspects of personal care, domestic support and general companionship services. In addition, Caremark can provide fully trained and qualified staff to residential settings and day centres.

This is a full time position, hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.

You will have excellent communication, administration and organisational skills and will have preferably worked in a similar role.

You will be responsible for managing a database of clients, maintaining care worker and client personnel files, recruiting care workers and will be the first point of call for all client enquiries and therefore must have an excellent telephone manner.

This role offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an individual who is looking to work in a fast paced administrative role.

We are a home care provider with a specialist Children and young people department. We operate in Luton, Bedfordshire and North Hertfordshire. You will have experience of working with Children and / or young people, experience of working with children with physical or learning disabilities or challenging behaviour would be advantageous, but not essential. The position would suit those looking for either full or part-time work, although flexibility is essential. We offer excellent rates of pay and on-going training.
